My sister was scheduled to fly from JFK to ROC. The original flight was delayed by a few hours and was rescheduled to leave at 3:35 PM later that day. At 2:45 PM, she asked the gate agent when they would be boarding, and the agent told her that the plane had already left. Over a dozen people on the same flight were at the gate too - and they never heard a boarding announcement or saw any change in the monitors showing the 3:35 departure time. JetBlue, you really do suck.

All airlines have late flights. My g-kids flight to China was delayed 3 1/2 hours, yesterday. Mechanical, electronic, weather, etc. I would rather have a delay than take off with a problem.

Past two and a half weeks I traveled 4 flights between RIC and BOS on JetBlue. 100% of flights were delayed 40 minutes or more (only 1 was 40 minutes) the other three had...

Here is a statistic!
Past two and a half weeks I traveled 4 flights between RIC and BOS on JetBlue. 100% of flights were delayed 40 minutes or more (only 1 was 40 minutes) the other three had multiple delays some even reported the delay after the actual time had passed and one delayed until it canceled.

I accept and understand delays when appropriate but this airline views them as status quo and is completely incapable of accurate, proactive and empathetic communication.

Expect hate agents to describe the problem was if it was another airline or company’s problem and not JetBlue who they work for and represent as the face to the customer.

NPS score = 5
Only because I eventually get my ticket obligation filled and I’m not flying with chickens in a cargo plane that they offer seats.

On return flight Orlando to Stewart flight schefuled for 1:44,pm. It was rescheduled 4 times and the cancelled.

Had to re-book to Newark and get ride to Stewart.

Got home 9 hours later than scheduled.

Jetblue is so bad they make NewJersey transit look good.

Sad they were once great.

Enjoy the houry updates that were sent until a agent came over and told everyone to re-book
to another airport.

Worst freaking airline. Beginning to end. No acknowledgement, no help. First they delay my son's first leg LAX-Boston to connect to Iceland. Flight is 2 1/2 hours on the runway, my son misses his connection - they tell him his bag is on its way to Iceland without him. After several hours, I'm able to get him on a flight the next night, first to Newark, then connect to Iceland. No hotel, no reimbursement even for a meal, so he sleeps in the airport, next day they say his bag did not actually go to Iceland, but will be on the flight with him from Newark to Iceland. Flight to Newark, delayed, but he makes his connection, gets to Iceland, no bag. Somehow, in the 20+ hours, it missed a connection from Boston to Newark to Iceland, though they won't tell you or take responsibility ("yeah, that's Icelandair's issue." - Uh, NO, actually, it's JetBlue's issue because they never put the bag on the Newark flight. So now, he's stuck in Reykavic, Iceland with no bag, no clothes, missed his tour there, and he's off to Dublin, hoping he'll get his bag. Still, JetBlue....? Hello? Hello, are you there? Nothing. Zip. Icelandair has been a champ, trying to compensate for JetBlue's total incompetence. Never, ever, ever, ever fly this steel trap again.

I am writing this @ BUR at 1AM waiting for my wife. Her departure from BOS was delayed by 3 hours due to crew scheduling issues. Then they had to land in Vegas to refuel. This is 2019 no one lands to refuel going cross country unless they miscalculated the fuel requirements.

Jet Blue wants routes to London. How can they manage that when they can’t figure out how much fuel it takes to go cross country

After receiving the flight ticket two weeks ago, we go to check the flight status, which is for tomorrow, and we realize that our trip is cancelled. However, the flight is on schedule for tomorrow. What happen is that Jetblue cancelled my payment for the ticket, they made a refund of the payment (they took 2 USD for them...), and they did not send any communication (email, message...) informing about this cancellation. NOTHING. They say that it is our email server (Gmail....), because they insist in that they sent the automatic email. Therefore, we have had to spend 200USD more in purchasing a new flight ticket for tomorrow (of course, not with JET SHIT BLUE). We have send a complaint to the Department of Transport.

Their website is an absolute nightmare--you'll try repeatedly to book and IT WILL NOT GO THROUGH--after you spend 15 minutes filling in all the information. Really guys? You can't do better than this? If they weren't one of the only airlines with the flight I regularly need, I would NEVER use them. It's 2019--no large company should have such a pathetic website.
Also, last time I flew I asked for an aisle seat (and paid the extra money for the extra space--I believe it was 50 bucks) and it was a middle seat (after I was assured at their counter upon departure that it was an aisle). So I paid extra money to be crammed in between an obese woman and a large dude. Awesome. "Even more space"? Yeah, not so much--maybe in front of you but the people next to you are as close as ever.
Lastly, enough with the constant hawking of shit up and down the aisles continuously. And have fun trying to find anything half decent to watch on your TV.

Flight from Buffalo to Orlando was delayed for an hour, no reason given. Our return flight from Orlando to Buffalo was canceled due to “mechanical issues”. We were booked on another flight with a 2 hour layover so instead of our nonstop 2 1/2 hour flight arriving in Buffalo at 4:45 pm, we took a 2 3/4 hour flight to Boston, now a 2 hour layover and then a 1 1/2 hour flight to Buffalo with an arrival time of 12:15!!!! That’s over 7 hours later than we should have arrived!!! I see delays and cancellations all over the arrival/ departure board!!!! What the heck is going on JetBlue???? U are an awful airline with little to none customer support. I would not recommend this airline to anyone!!! I don’t feel safe flying with them and u can’t trust them with your vacation plans. Go to southwest or frontier!! Stay away from JetBlue!!!

Very disappointed with the service during my flight from SFO to FLL. I bought tickets at JetBlue Mint, which is their first class service and from 15 minutes before the departure of the flight and up to an hour later, the satellite television service did not work; the flight attendants did not notice the inconveniences of satellite service but until 15 minutes after the departure of the flight and 1 hour later they did not solve the problem.

In addition, one hour after the departure of the flight, we had not received any drink, not even water and the food was also delayed.

The JetBlue Mint tickets have a high rate compared to normal tickets and for this reason the service should be adapted to the expectations of the users.

Contrary to what I thought, JetBlue Mint did not offer me a pleasant experience on my flight of 5 hours and a half duration. Services as entertainment tv, food amd drink are incredibly important in a first class section of an airline.

Website is the worst travel website. I have absolutely booked with other airlines every time I have had a glitch or problem with booking on their site or checking in. When I have checked in and had an issue I have absolutely cancelled and rebooked with Delta or someone else. I am super surprised that they have not fixed the glitches that have been going on for, honestly, years.

I have been a Mosaic flyer for better than 5 years and typically happy with their service and on time flights. But from DAY ONE their website has been and remains terrible. I don’t know how it can be so hard to get something so basic down but despite probably three complete redos in these five years the site remains problematic, hard to navigate and certain functions are down all too often. I think the fact that they have a prominent link on the homepage saying Report Website Problem pretty much says it all. I’m about one more failed login away from walking away from JetBlue and going to Delta full time.

Jet blue sucks! My daugher and her friend (both 17) were booked on a flight from Burlington VT to JFK today. Flight was scheduled to depart at 9:13am. She arrived at the airport at 7:15am this morning. The flight finally took off at almost 3:30pm - almost 6 hours late. She had asked to be re-booked with Jetblue and was told that was not possible. She also inquired about re-booking with another carrier, but was not provided assistance in doing so. I just called customer service and their response was simply to sit in silence and say nothing - indicating that we would get a response "if compensation was due" within 7 days of the flight. What a total joke. JET BLUE SUCKS

Buffalo to Ft. Lauderdale... supposed to leave at 7:53am... we board around 7:30am at one gate. We wait at the gate... 2 hours or more, later, we taxi to another gate and wait... and then everybody...

Buffalo to Ft. Lauderdale... supposed to leave at 7:53am... we board around 7:30am at one gate. We wait at the gate... 2 hours or more, later, we taxi to another gate and wait... and then everybody gets off the plane... we're not going anywhere but maybe later we will? We sit and wait at the Buffalo airport a couple hours... eventually that flight is cancelled; we bother our friend, who got up at 5am to take us to the airport, to come back to pick us up and take us home, in a typically terrible Buffalo winter snow storm of a day...

Next day, we're supposed to leave at 7:53am. Jet Blue tells us the flight should leave at 10am. We get on board about 9:20am... and wait and wait and wait. About 1pm we start the de-icing process... the plane takes off after 2pm for Florida... basically, I sat waiting on that plane for 4 hours plus, and then the flight to Florida was about 3 hours, so 7 hours sitting in the seat on that plane. Ugh.

Coming home to Buffalo, from Fort Lauderdale, 2 weeks later, it's raining in Florida and snowing in Buffalo. The flight is supposed to leave at 2:53 and get to Buffalo just before 6pm, so 3 hours, right? We get on board, wait a while, and take off about 3:30 or so... I look at the map on the tv screen in front of me and our plane makes a hard right toward NYC rather than heading straight north to Buffalo...The captain tells us some piece of equipment at the Buffalo airport is broken and has been for days, coupled with such blinding weather conditions (snow/wind) that it's unsafe to attempt to land there. Buffalo: UGH. So we are diverted to JFK-NYC and deboard the plane there, waiting around for an hour or more... then we get back on the plane about 7:20pm, but don't actually leave JFK til 9pm because there are "22 planes ahead of us waiting to take off." UGH. We finally land in Buffalo after 10pm. So what should have been 3 hours took over 7 hours.

Customer service didn’t give a crap. I talked to a “supervisor” named Catherine. She got loud and mean with me, wouldn’t offer me anything but True Blue points.

What a crap airline this is! As if I want credits towards another flight!

Reasons stated for flight cancellation was “weather” and “crew timing out”. Catherine explained to me that due to weather elsewhere, the crew was past their allowable working hours and could not work anymore. Ok.....so.....CALL IN MORE CREW!!!! Oh, wait, a huge amount of JetBlue crew members were away on a JetBlue “Run the World” thing, so there was no one to call in.

My trip was ruined due to JetBlue’s negligence, and they couldn’t care less

Rode JetBlue last night and holy shit does it suck.Delayed my flight by three hours and than delayed it for another after the "revised" time. Seats were comfortable but so dirty and the overhead cabins were deteriorating. Screens were shitty and I somehow figured out how to turn it off. How can this be the best business class experience in America when your plane looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the 80s. Easily one of the worst airlines right now, but it's still better than Frontier.

They didn't give us any additional information until 3:00 a.m. and told us were were going to be taking off.

But our flight was cancelled AGAIN because two flight attendants refused to get off the plane and let the new crew on. they wanted to be paid overtime! So the pilots ran out of flight time, the flight was cancelled, and they are blaming weather not admitting it was due to the flight attendant fight. I cost me $750 to a cab to and from the airport to a hotel and a flight on Delta to Denver. DON'T FLY JET BLUE!

No matter what airline you fly, as long as it is at the same place at the same time, you WILL experience turbulence. Delays are usually issued by the airport's ATC. They struggle to find us seats, since it’s evident they already gave someone else our seats (ones we paid extra to secure). She then continued to berate us and challenge us on our tardiness. She then gives us seats in the last third part of plane. My wife tells her she’s sensitive to motion sickness and that’s why we paid extra for our seats. Idhira, the very unpleasant lady, hands us the boarding passes, still arguing, and my wife begins to explain the reason she needs to be closer to the front. She kept asking my wife if she was going to get sick and my wife said she may. Long story, as we're now allowed to board plane and begin to go down the jet bridge, my wife is now arguing with the lady because of the hassle, inconvenience and treatment. We’re walking and the lady yellls to us to get out because now we’re arguing with her and she’s doing us a favor by letting us board, when we’re not supposed to because we were late. At this time we’re out of the jet bridge and she starts saying that she cannot let us travel because my wife said she’s going to get sick. Needless to say, we have never, ever been not allowed on a plane because we were there within 15 minutes from departure. Furthermore, we have never experienced such unprofessional and rude treatment from an airline staff member. What’s more Idhira was cocky and arrogant, and she could care less what we said or how this would impact our trip, appointments and rest of our tight schedule in our destination. Jet Blue has decreased significantly in service and many other areas. When they first came on the scene, they were a real competitor to other leading airlines. They’ve become just another airline to avoid. Terrible, simply terrible.

Forget Jetblue as your corporate carrier - we are a sizable US based advisory business and we cannot get consistent travel receipts from them. Our controllers hate dealing with them. There's a 48 hour turnaround time on requests. Some of them come back with "Oops we are unable to process your request at this time". Initial transactions often dont trigger a receipt email. We need these to bill back to clients.

Worst, customer service (once you locate their well hidden phone number) are snippy. Literally one representative told me "Most other businesses dont automatically offer a receipt, you would have to request that..." Sorry missy but your 100% wrong there - good luck with that attitude and level of obtuseness.

Bottom line - JetBlue is not a business friendly airline and to anyone considering using them - go with Southwest, heck even United or American. Jetblue truly could not care less.

Goodbye Jetblue - no more business from us.

But no, this is standard - flight home, same thing but we had already gotten to the airport.. at the counter asked the agent to switch to the earliest available - he said there were 11 seats ... and the next moment said “oh no, you lost those” ... so we asked to stay on the first and he said “sorry, I had already given those up.” Leaving us with NO flight until like 5 hours later! Standard JetBlue Service.. he then had the audacity to say “that’s why you should never ask to switch flights”. Amazing. Called customer service - they said they’d give us the $ back for those flights - in 5-7 days. Thanks bunches - the new tix with another airline last minute cost twice that.

The rep on the phone (because you can make a reservation on the app but can't cancel on it, real convenient) tells me I have to pay $75 fee to get my $64 worth of points back. Lol! I guess they think their customers are idiots. Oh well, if they need money that bad then they can get it from someone else. I won't use them again. They can’t get me on another flight until two days later and they say they don’t reimburse for hotels if it’s weather related. Absolutely worst experience ever. I called customer service and escalated as high as I could. Stuck in Florida with expenses to be incurred due to the inconvenience and expenses at my destination. They got me again!!!! Last time I flew them I got the unexplained mechanical delays that was converted to crew timing out that was converted to no aircraft. Stuck me for a 12 hour delay. I swore I would never fly them again.

Six weeks later I am trying it again and they have just been giving us the mechanical issue again. I can see the plane from window. See no maintenance trucks, nobody getting off/on or crawling around.

It's my fault. Only a fool fails learn from past mistakes.

I checked my bag at 6:05 a.m. for a 7:35 a.m. flight and it was not put on the plane. I was told at the destination of the fight that "the TSA was backed up." If so why did all the other passengers on this full flight get their bags, which were very probably checked well after an hour and a half before the flight. The flight landed at 11:30 a.m. local time (an hour earlier that departure city time) and it is now 9:00 p.m. and I do not have my bag. It arrived at destination airport at about 5:30 p.m. and a very nasty Jet Blue rep told me that it would be delivered to my hotel by 7:30. The email from the delivery service reported that it will be delivered by 1:00 a.m. tomorrow. I will not fly Jet Blue again if only because they misrepresent the truth, or to put it plainly, they lie.

It is hard to find a hotel in the midnight and they don't care. They don't even care how much time you spend on waiting and how your plan is interrupted. Don't even think your compensation $125 is good for People you affect. It means nothing. No one will take this shit. JetBlue is suck. I won't fly with it in my whole life.

Two infants with us and they refuse to offer a hotel credit, but want the kids to sleep at airport. Took cab to Newark instead to catch the 9pm down to PBI and it is now midnight and they have used the following excuses so far, bad weather, staff problems, mechanical, and air traffic control. Kids now out of diapers and formula and they are no help. Guy at "help" center literally walked away from his terminal and never returned leaving about 50 people in line. 2 jet blue staff fixing the damn ribbons to keep people in line, but one idiot actually trying to work. And don't get me started with the check in process with 3 idiots looking at the same screen helping 1 person. Incompetence sums it up

Strike 2: Flight 1332 from Laguardia to Boston was canceled because you downsized a plane. You suggested a flight the next morning which was not possible as I needed to be in Boston that evening to let my dog out. Took the Acela. Cost to me $159 + 1/2 the air fair (still on hold trying to get this back - 56 minutes and counting trying to get this resolved)

Strike 3: I arrived at the gate at Boston 40 minutes before departure on Wednesday 8/2/2017. Two attendants were joking around at the gate between themselves. I don't have a problem with that. I timidly asked them if the flight was boarding yet. They glared at me like I'd interrupted their good time and with some bother in their voice said "wait 10 minutes". Sorry to disrupt your good time.

By the way which stupid airline still gives direct tv as entertainment. Don't they law nobody watches cable anymore. Wifi si free if you are a jetblue member which im pretty sure nobody wants to be. On Wednesday 7/12 , our 7pm flight from SAV to JFK , #1042, was cancelled at noon becaue of "unforseen circumstances" aka remnants of ground crew strike. No comp offered, We had #1042/same...

On Wednesday 7/12 , our 7pm flight from SAV to JFK , #1042, was cancelled at noon becaue of "unforseen circumstances" aka remnants of ground crew strike. No comp offered, We had #1042/same flight on Thursday cancelled at 10:45 pm after several hours of waiting at airport. Jetblue booked us on same #1042 flight on SATURDAY but we had enough and drove to JAX and got home late on Friday. Had we waited an additional day and fly on that Sat flight On #1042, we would have arrived at JFK at 3am, nearly 7 hrs after scheduled arrival.

Jetblue seems to lack the ability to adapt to things that occur out of the norm. They are on thecdevline and do not have the same trust in their ability to get us anywhere on a timely basis.

Well it's better than work - but POS JetBlue robbed both me and my friend of an entire day of vacation on a flight from Las Vegas to Ft. Lauderdale (Puerto Rico final destination). Ft. lauderdale connecting flight was delayed from 11:30pm to 3:30am, and then canceled with the next flight available to Puerto Rico that works now for +2 days as the only option. No offer to comp or anything - this is my only week of vacation the entire year and now I get to waste 24 hours of it at the airport because they decided to push their flight crew up to some 18 hour threshold for allowing the pilot to legally fly. WTF!?!? They intended to try to make the pilot continue flying over the legal 18 hour limit instead of getting another flight crew... Just canceled and booked with SouthWest but won't arrive until midnight tonight... 14 hours later than originally planned...

Finally i go look at the online flight status page and it says the flight is cancelled.... No one called and no one texted us. A few hours later they sent an email saying they rebooked us to the 3pm flight. Well jet blue go screw yourself.

There was NO reimbursal for our hotel room in New York while we waited to fly out the next day. There was NO offer of food voucher, no bag of peanuts. We had to fight with their "customer service" [sic] department to postpone our return flight by one day so we could have the entire vacation time we had been looking forward to for so long. A week later, our return flight to JFK was cancelled due to a crew member getting sick. (Large airlines don't keep backup crew on standby?!?) About 200 of us had to stand in a sweltering tropical airport terminal with no A/C - they held us there for at least an hour while they tried to figure out what to do with us. It took about an hour for them to pass out some water. When they finally released us, we had to re-claim our luggage, re-enter the country via customs, and then stand in another line for about 45 minutes to get assigned to a hotel. Although they did provide us with taxi, dinner, hotel, and breakfast, the taxi ride to the hotel took about 2 hours there and 1.5 hours back. We're now finally sitting on a plane which was supposed to leave at 2:00pm. It's currently 2:55. We're being told that there's engine trouble. To add insult to injury, the stewardess has announced: "We have a limited amount of headsets we'll be bringing around for you to PURCHASE." Purchase? After all this, you can't just hand out your cheap little earbuds for free?!?

I'm afraid that all the airlines have found a business model that leaves room for a relatively few people that vow to never use a particular carrier again. Apparently, they all feel assured of a steady stream of lemmings, one large enough to for them to stay in operation. Who cares about customer service if your company is in the black?

Even under such a model, I'll forgive the occasional delay, crew shortage, delayed flight, etc. Things happen.

But I gotta say: I've NEVER experienced an airline that screws up SO MANY TIMES during such a short trip.

Although they did provide us with taxi, dinner, hotel, and breakfast, the taxi ride to the hotel took about 2 hours there and 1.5 hours back. We're now finally sitting on a plane which was supposed to leave at 2:00pm. It's currently 2:55. We're being told that there's engine trouble. To add insult to injury, the stewardess has announced: "We have a limited amount of headsets we'll be bringing around for you to PURCHASE." Purchase? After all this, you can't just hand out your cheap little earbuds for free?!?

I'm afraid that all the airlines have found a business model that leaves room for a relatively few people that vow to never use a particular carrier again. Apparently, they all feel assured of a steady stream of lemmings, one large enough to for them to stay in operation. Who cares about customer service if your company is in the black?

Even under such a model, I'll forgive the occasional delay, crew shortage, delayed flight, etc. Things happen.

But I gotta say: I've NEVER experienced an airline that screws up SO MANY TIMES during such a short trip.

JetBlue is by far the worst airline I've had experience with.

We had a flight leaving Orlando at 3:00 in the afternoon to Boston after a lovely Disney World vacation. They sent me an email saying they cancelled our flight and would get back to me shortly with new flight details. An hour later, they sent me an email that I was on a connecting flight through D.C. the NEXT morning at 6:57a.m!!! Had I agreed, I would have had to unpack, book a hotel night at my Disney resort, pay for another day for park tickets, pay for another day for my car rental, change my transportation home from the airport, etc. etc. etc.!!! JetBlue has NO regard for anyone's time, money or sanity!!!!! I will NEVER flight this crappy airline again and would encourage all to do the same! We ended up getting a wonderful Delta flight out of Tampa 4 hours later and loved our experience!!! We were upgraded to Premium seats once I told the helpful woman at the Delta counter. She couldn't have been nicer!! We will now only fly Delta!!!!!!!!!! I had a 7am, flight from NY to Miami for a small 4-day vacation. Jetblue calls me at 1am informing the flight was canceled and they rebooked me for another flight 2 days later - effectively ruining my trip.

After 1:30 waiting for customer service i was told no other flights were available, so i canceled the trip (i am still waiting for my refund!).

Later in the day I found out that they actually did have seats available on other flights - liers!

But it was too late to rebook at that point. An aggressive and disrespectful customer service attendant said it was not their problem nor their duty to try and solve customers problems.

I will never purchase Jetblue tickets ever again

At 2:00 they notified us that the plane for my 2:30 flight was still in another city. They initially said it would be a 4.5 hour delay before the plane would arrive, but they promised as soon as it arrived we would leave as soon as possible. Well 6.5 hours later the plane finally arrived, and everyone was ready for that speedy boarding process. But they delay the flight by 2 more hours. Apparently the pilots for our flight were still in another city and their flight to us hadn't even taken off yet. So now I'm sitting in the airport 8 hours after my original departure time just waiting for these pilots. I could've driven and been there by now.
Honestly I didn't wanna fly jet blue again after my last flight that was just outright cancelled for no reason. But they gave me jet blue credit and I felt obligated to use it. Big mistake. Never flying with this assholes ever again.

On Monday, I arrived at JFK at 6am with my wife, parents, and brother for our flight to Barbados, connecting to an island in the Grenadines, for a trip to celebrate my parent's 50th anniversary. A lot of planning and saving and convincing my wife to go went into this moment.

Some years ago, my passport got wet, so it was a little rough around the edges. The agent who helped us check our bags handed it back to me and said "Have a great trip", the gate agent, as I was boarding said, "You can't fly with that passport."

I have flown in and out of Europe several times with that passport. The last time was about two months ago, traveling to Switzerland. I showed the agent the visas that the Swiss had stamped on my "mutilated" passport and pointed out that if the Swiss didn't have a problem with it, I highly doubt Barbados would.

No dice. I watched my family get on the plane and was told to go to the passport office in NYC. After a $60, two hour cab ride in rush hour traffic, I spent the next 9 hours, and another $200 getting a new passport. Another $60 cab ride back to JFK and I made the red-eye to Barbados at 11:30 and spent what should have been my first day on a white sand beach waiting in Barbados for an island hopper for another 5 hours.

Fast forward to the end of our week. After our island hopper dropped us back in Barbados at 1pm we arrived at the JetBlue counter to be told that JetBlue had "changed equipment", the new plane had fewer seats, we were bumped, and that the next flight out is at 5am.

We were informed that "we emailed you about this change last night".

Even if the island we were on had broadband coverage, I still fail to see what difference it makes whether they emailed us or not. It's not like the place we were staying could give us a room for the night, plus, no matter how you slice it, someone was getting bumped.

Bumped and unexpectedly stuck in Barbados overnight due to a change JetBlue made voluntarily, knowing they were going to strand customers who had reservations, the next logical question is "Where are you putting us up for the night?"

Again, no dice. Here's their logic: The flight wasn't cancelled, we were put on the next flight, and Jet Blue's policy is not to provide accommodations for disruptions caused by "equipment change". It's pure semantics: The bottom line is that my 75 year old parents were now stranded overnight in an open air terminal.

Barely containing my anger, I asked to talk to the manager in charge. She refused to come talk to us, and the ticket agents were just sticking to the party line.

At that point I called JetBlue in the states. After 30 minutes of escalating through layers of "customer service" I spoke with a supervisor who agreed our situation was ridiculous, that we should be given accommodations, and that she had spoken with the manager onsite who was coming to take care of us.

Except she didn't. Clearly annoyed at being forced to talk to us, she said the best she could do is call around and maybe get us a better rate calling from JetBlue. I am now writing this from a shit hotel full of UK spring break yobos, with no hot water to take a shower

I find it amazing that JetBlue is ranked #2 in customer satisfaction behind Virgin. The people we dealt with make American look like Lufthansa.

JetBlue, on its own, decided to switch to a plane with fewer seats on it than what they had sold. That was their *choice*. When a flight is cancelled due to weather or circumstances beyond their control, they provide accommodations.

They chose to put their customers in an untenable situation, and their policy when they make that choice is to do nothing. If anything, in that situation, they should be bending over backwards to make sure the travelers they are stranding -- again, by choice -- are taken care of.

I will be filing a complaint with the FAA and sharing this story as widely as I possibly can.

At 11:00 they said the flight was cancelled. You could barely hear it over the speaker. I immediately called 800# to rebook and went to the Help desk where 2 disinterested employees tool 30 mins helping 2 other people before my turn.

The guy at the desk says to me: Oh, that was an error - YOUR flight wasn't canceled - it was another one to JFK! Run back to the gate and see if you can get on. I ran back and the nasty employee told me to move so she could close the door. She gave away my seat - said they changed the cancel order and decided to fly... WHAT?! No announcement, no calling my name, no last change - no nothing. Had to get a hotel and a flight the next day.

I understand that Jetblue at MCO has very bad on-time schedules as well as stupid and rude employees. And I thought Delta was bad!

After nearly an hour of wondering and guessing and trying to get home, the agent instructed her to take the Pittsburg flight....? Which makes no real sense that this flight should be going if the Detroit route is a cancel??? Ok, so she agrees and moments later is told that the Pittsburg flight now is delayed until 1120pm... Are you kidding me??? When she gets there it will be after 130am.... We can be sure nobody from Jet Blue will be there to offer her a hotel room and the first flight of any service in the morning....

I see Jet Blue's breach of contract as another example why I will never fly this rinkie dink airline ever again... I will spread the word and hopefully this airline will be out of business... When an Airline is glad to take a customer's money two months in advance of a flight but can't produce the service that is expected and promised, is nothing short of neglect and failure to provide service paid for in advance.

There are no other flights available out of Seatac for today. Southern California has many, many options, he could fly into any airport in OC, Santa Ana, LAX, Ontario, San Diego, Burbank....

I am so glad I found this site. Jet Blue cancelled my flight to Boston in early December and I missed my connecting flight to Seattle. Upon going to Customer Service, which is properly titled "Just Ask" because that's what happens (you ask and get nothing), I was advised to fly to Portland. From there it was "just a two hour drive" to Seattle. Of course they were not going to pay for the car. After more than $150 in cabs (and trains) back and forth to JFK the insufferable jackass at check in (the following day) told me that I had already checked a bag. My reply, "I did, yesterday."

After an uneventful flight there, I was unable to print my boarding pass for the flight home. I went to SEATAC early as I was anticipating a problem. There was, of course, no one at check in -- it did not open until 8:30.

Jet Blue is the worst.

Don't ever book an overseas flight on JetBlue. My husband and I booked a flight on the JetBlue site to go on JetBlue from LAX to JFK and then connect to an Emirates flight to Milan. My husband got sick and we didn't go, but were told by JetBlue that we would get a credit toward a future flight, although we would have to pay a fee. In the last couple of days, my husband has called JetBlue and been put on hold for long periods of time, gotten hung up on and gotten conflicting information. Yesterday, we were told that we would have to call Emirates, which is ridiculous because they were the partner; we booked on JetBlue. Today, a supervisor said that we would have to book a flight that had Emirates as a partner. How can we, when it's obvious that JetBlue no longer has a relationship with them? When I couldn't find a flight to Milan with Emirates on the JetBlue site, I checked a flight to Dubai and even those flights aren't on Emirates! Do they get paid extra to lie? I arrive at John Hancock airport on time (an hour before flight). Me and my other half had a little extra time to grab a bite so we did. At about 11:00 am the first notice of delay was for 12:15 which eventually escalates to the departure time of 4:45 pm est. We have another plane that has to be caught at JFK at 5:30 pm est. We arrive on the tarmac at 5:45 pm est and the pilot announces the steering mechanism must be bad so we have to wait for a tow. By the time my plane is at the concourse it is 6:08 pm. We have missed our other segment to Belgium and finally after arguing with the Jet Blue counter we are directed to the Aer Lingus counter which the gentleman was a gem getting us tickets for a later flight. The security line at this point is a melee and would be difficult to navigate due to the time constraints we were under. So we proceed to miss our scheduled connection flight. Jet Blue counter here we come again.

No possible flights back to Syracuse until next day or day after. I took the bus home, and my other half stayed for the next flight which was 2 days later. My other half was met at the counter by an employee named Sh****a who when asked to call and see if she could get the correct information told my other half to call Jet Blue and refused to write the number down and took off her badge so the possibility would exist that her name would not be recognized. As my other half was walking away from the counter fortunately within sight of a superior Sh****a said, "** off." I am already furious as it were about our experience. Next night my other half calls Jet Blue and is referred to someone named supervisor that will not give any information and refers to us as, "you people." At this point we are told that we would receive 300 points in credits only and provoked daunting sarcasm from "supervisor" to state, "well you can always email customer service and that is as far as you will get."

My call to customer service to assess the situation today has been a total waste of time in knowing that I am out about $3500.00 USD after this crap and that Jet Blue are a bunch of bigots on top of it. I could not recommend this airline to anyone. First excuse from Jet Blue about the delay was that someone deplaning at JFK had a pair of scissors. Second excuse was a combination of security and weather when there is not even a cloud in the sky. The final excuse was the truth that they had overfilled the fuel on the aircraft and had an engine problem with no replacements (they stated) for the day available so they had to fly it from Boston back to Syracuse when the engine was repaired. They did me worse than Delta.

I purchased everything -- airplane tickets and baggage -- online so that can have a swift check-in. Went to the curbside to check-in and I was told I need to get to the counter since I purchased my checked baggage online. Fine but not fine. So I went to the counter and I was asked to stow away the check baggage onto the conveyer belt. I'm like what?! The counter guy was just being arbitrary since the people before me -- white young women Europeans did not have to stow away their luggage -- but since I am not any of those, I was asked to put away my own baggage to the conveyer belt. Again, fine but not fine.

When I did this, counter guy also blamed me for not checking-in online and then just dismissed me and was told a very sarcastic and insincere "have a nice flight". And once at the gate, counter girl was on the phone, and very rudely just took my ticket no eye contact and waved me away. Rude, offensive, prejudice, and discriminatory service, if you call any of those service at all.

This airliner started off great - now it sucks. I am a frequent flyer but will change to another that don't charge for first check bags. I know you guys will fail, if you don't listen to your customers. Disappointed flyer.

I recently had the worst flying experience that I've had in 20 years of flying. On Sunday August 16th I had a 6am flight from San Juan to Ft Lauderdale; at 15 minutes before the flight was to take off there was a gate change as all passengers hustled over to the next gate. We waited well after 6am and no one was able to tell us why we had not boarded the plane. We finally boarded about 10 minutes to 7, again we sat for a longer period. Finally the plane left at about 10 minute to 8. I missed my connection to my next destination.

The most aggravating thing was No One At Jetblue wanted to help me figure out how I was to get to my next destination. I went over to speak with Silver Airways as I missed the flight to the Bahamas. The Silver Air team made several attempts to cal Jetblue only to be put on hold several minutes. The team at Silver even went to retrieve my luggage. This is poor customer service to the max, I will never fly Jetblue even if the tickets were free.

Six people were scheduled on a flight from Worcester, Ma. on July 27th to FLL. A few hours before we got a call that the flight had been cancelled. In speaking with the service agents no one seemed to care about our changed flight options or our particular situation. However...the thing that really upsets me is that in discussion with other airline employees at Logan Airport, we were told that it happens all the time. Flights to and from Worcester, Ma. are cancelled on a whim. Flying with us was a 10 yr. old girl. It was her birthday, and a first flight, and a surprise birthday party was planned for her upon her arrival in Florida, including a trip to Disney for 4 days. My family was bringing her and her family down as a gift.

JetBlue agents were totally uninterested in our plight. We incurred additional rental car fees as we had to re-route to Logan. We were all split on flights. The other travelers had to fly directly to Orlando and the money spent on the party was all lost. This incurred additional Hotel fees for everyone waiting in the Florida area, as they all traveled up to Orlando a day early to try to save some part of the birthday celebration. My husband and myself missed all of this totally as we had to fly into FLL.

On the subsequent flights we were placed in the last row, even though there were "Even More Space" seats available. The agents at the gate were totally unconcerned. I have always flown JetBlue, and am sorely disappointed and upset with this whole turn of events. I was told JetBlue would compensate me, and to date have heard nothing from them.

I called to cancel a travel reservation today because my close/travel companion had been in a car accident and her mom passed away. Delta refunded me the full ticket price in credit without charging any cancellation fee. Jet blue, however, refused to waive the $150 exchange fee, and one customer service on the phone told me that they would only waive the fee "if your mom passed away". WTF?! I will never fly jet blue again and hope others will make the smart choice and fly with other reliable companies!!

I am a new flyer with JetBlue, and I have to say I will never fly with JetBlue again. I purchased tickets for the first time ever with them and need to cancel. They will cancel them but only give me credit with JetBlue which is useless. Additionally, I was months out for my reservation which would give them plenty of time to fill the seats, and nowhere on their agreement did it say that the only refund I would receive would be JetBlue Credit. This is the absolute worst company to fly with and I pray you read before purchasing their ticket, because it will definitely change your mind. Purchasing ticket thru JetBlue was the worst mistake that I ever made.

I have traveled with Jet Blue a few times in the last few years and it was never a great experience, but the most recent was extremely bad. On the outgoing flight we were delayed five hours. The personnel gave little Information, and were surely and unhelpful. On the return flight, a connecting flight was extremely delayed and we were not going to make the Jet Blue flight. So 10 hours ahead, the other airline called them to assist in getting the flight changed. Jet Blue was unwilling to change it and re-charged the FULL FARE. The other airline was appalled. We talked to a supervisor who was extremely rude and unprofessional, to say the least, but completely disinterested in how unreasonable she was being. I have never been so poorly treated or outrageously overcharged. The whole airline appears to have a bad attitude and no interest in customers.

I made a reservation via the phone with JetBlue instead of online because I thought it was required for a minor child who is fifteen. I was being charged $559 for a ticket when online it stated $453.11 and a fifteen year old was not considered a minor but as an adult. I tried emailing and calling agency back to have them honor the $453.11 and they said that is was not that price but $559 with taxes. When you confirm for the same flights online the $453.11 was with taxes and fees included. I received an email from agent ** stating it was booked and $80 and agent said reply to email and hung up the phone on me. I called several times and was hung up on several times. Agent ** refused to call me back and replied via email where he did not address me as Ms. **, but just **, and in last email by no name. It was not three hours and they charged me a cancellation fee of $80 and stated the ticket refund will appear in my account in seven days.

Argh. So, despite the fact I just did this in October, JetBlue has decided it can't fly my dog with me to San Juan. Because suddenly they didn't understand that it's not an international flight. Even though they fly there. 10 minutes on the phone with American, and I'm good to go San Juan with my pooch, and I'm booked on Cape Air as well. That last part is interesting, because that's the reason that JetBlue customer service stated was why they couldn't book the flight -- that they couldn't guarantee that Cape Air would take me. Even though they had several times before, including last October, as my TrueBlue record demonstrates. JetBlue's response? To offer me a $25 flight credit. For a flight where they won't take the dog. It's like a customer service alternate universe, or something. Anyway, guess I'm done doing business with you guys -- all it would have taken was your customer service to admit there had been an error -- I don't care whose -- and booked me on a flight to San Juan with the dog.

I booked a guest artist on a flight to a Comic Convention I run. Shortly after I booked him a flight He informed me that he had to cancel due to family problems. Jet blue charged me $150 to cancel the trip and then sent travel Credit to the person who was to take the flight not the person who paid. I called them to straighten this out and they said they could do nothing for me. I insisted in getting the money back from the balance they said they never refund money. After asking for a supervisor she offered me $50 back for the cancellation fee but said she could not put the travel credit I paid for back in my Jet-blue account. I booked the flight originally with my jet-blue account. I insisted that I should at least have the travel credit in my Jet-blue account not the person that was to fly but cancelled. they said they could do nothing. I asked for a higher supervisor. That person yelled at at me and hung up. I am wasting a lot of my personal time trying to get this resolved and their customer service is almost no help. I have been a loyal Jet Blue customer for over 10 years and always tell others how great the airline is. Something changed recently and it is not good. A few years ago I had to cancel a flight for another guest and there was a very small fee and I got all the credit right in my account. I really liked Jet-blue up to this point but they have let me down immensely. I am hopeing this extra effort of complaining will reach upper management and they may start to value their long term customers again. I sure don't want to fly on the old legacy airlines again.
